FAQ

  • How do I schedule a tattoo appointment?

There is a form for booking on the front page of this website and linked via the “schedule” button on the top corner of this page. If both of these forms are down there is another one under “Kasha” on the Wildwood Tattoo Studio website. If all of these forms are down you can e-mail me at foragertattoo@gmail.com. I do not book through social media messengers.

  • Do you have flash available?

I do! I post repeatable flash and single client pre-drawn pieces on instagram. Pre-drawns are also available for purchase through this site. If you are buying a pre-drawn design to be tattooed at Forager Tattoo in Rogers or Wildwood Tattoo Studio in Fort Smith we can find an appointment date after purchase. If you are scheduling for Denton, OKC, or a guest location please schedule before purchasing.

  • Do you do cover ups?

I do! Though not all desired designs can be used to cover all pre-existing tattoos, I would love to work with you to develop a piece you will love! To schedule a cover up please include a picture of the tattoo you would like to cover on your schedule request form.

  • I'm getting a larger piece. Should I do a consultation?

Absolutely! I typically consult with clients via e-mail or FaceTime. In person consultations are available upon request at Forager Tattoo in Rogers and Wildwood Tattoo Studio in Fort Smith.

  • What forms of payment do you take?

I take cash, card, Venmo, and CashApp. I do not take Zelle or PayPal. All digital transactions reflect the tax and processing fees of each location and the processor used. These vary from 10.5% - 13.5% at the four locations I visit regularly. Additional guest spots may vary.

  • Do I need to pay a deposit?

I require a $100 - $200 deposit to confirm each appointment. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. They are applied to the total cost of you tattoo; if your tattoo takes multiple sessions your deposit will be applied to your final session. One personal emergency reschedule can be made per deposit; there is no limit to weather emergency reschedules. Deposits pay for sketching time and for scheduling and back end labor.

  • How much will my tattoo cost?

That depends on so many things! My Half day rate is $700, my full day rate is $1300. Smaller pieces are priced per piece or hourly. I try to list the amount of time each piece takes to complete when I post them to social media. If you have a pricing question please feel free to reach out.

  • Can I see the design before my appointment?

I don’t send out any designs before the day of your appointment. I have time set aside at the beginning of each session to go over the stencil and make any necessary changes. I do not tattoo other people’s art without explicit permission. I obligate creative freedom with all custom pieces. I will absolutely tattoo whatever cute thing your child drew for you without changing it, but I will not steal artwork from individual artists or adhere to strict micromanagement. I like my job and you are hiring me to do it! Kid art and friend sketches are welcome.

  • Where is your studio?

Forager Tattoo 203 N 24th Street / Rogers, AR (lot parking available)

Wildwood Tattoo Studio 11 N 3rd Street / Fort Smith, AR (lot parking available)

Trilogy Tattoo Studio 709 S Elm Street / Denton, TX (street parking available)

Sacred Soul Collective 1900 Linwood Blvd / OKC, OK (street parking available)

  • Can I bring someone with me?

You can bring one guest with you to your appointment! They may not be able to sit with you while you are being tattooed, depending on the studio size and artist proximity, but we will try. All of the studios I work with have comfortable waiting areas.

  • Should I arrive 15 minutes early to my appointment?

No, thank you! I use the time before each appointment to get ready for the next session. I have time built in to each appointment to fill out paperwork and go over the design so you don’t have to show up early. If you have an appointment at Wildwood Tattoo Studio you are absolutely welcome to come early and check out the vintage store below us, but you don’t have to sit in the waiting room for a quarter of an hour when you could be living your life instead.

  • How do I care for my new tattoo?

I typically email long-form aftercare instructions to clients with their confirmation information. The short-form cards I give out say:

    *Wash your hands

*Gently wash your tattoo two or more times a day with antibacterial or gentle, unscented soap and lukewarm water

    *Let tattoo air dry completely

*Apply a very thin layer of tattoo balm

*Do not soak/ sweat/ submerge/ go to the gym/ sleep on dirty sheets/ rub dirt in it
